The Goldman Sachs 2020 Partner List

It’s happened. After some delay, the Goldman Sachs 2020 partner list has landed.

The full list is below. There will be some disappointment: as predicted, the list is the shortest it’s ever been with just 60 people promoted, and no more partner promotions for two years.

27% of this year’s Goldman partner class are women. 7% are black. 5% are Hispanic/Latinx and 17% are Asian. In 2016, 23% of Goldman’s partner class was female and the firm didn’t break out the ethnicity of its new partners.

Following the new promotions, Goldman says 18% of its overall group of partners (including those promoted in previous years) are women; just 3% are black; 2% are Hispanic; 17% are Asian; 1% are LBTQ+.
